By being an organizational advocate, your power, influence, and value to the organization tends to increase.

As a leader, acting as the “glue” to the rest of the organization makes your team feel more connected to a larger mission, and has been shown to support higher productivity and workplace satisfaction.

When acting as the leadership connection, leaders have an opportunity to create spaces for innovation, build team value, and support outstanding work. In a distance work environment, you may be the most prominent face of the organization.
